The Journey Begins...

National Women’s Day!

How did you celebrate National Women’s Day? I think the celebration and discussion about women equality should last all month, or even all year!

Starting a small business is rough, hard work, and not exactly rewarding right away. However, the long term rewards are many; being your own boss being the major reward, with freedom to make the decisions in every aspect of the business. Do you find this comforting, making all the decisions and being the “boss” through all the business elements? I find it a little unsettling at times, making the decisions whether good or bad it does fall on the “bosses” shoulders. The ability to make these decisions makes a strong business entrepreneur, it energizes the spirit and gives a sense of accomplishment, whether good or bad. My personal dream to have financial freedom, ownership, and success in something I built is what keeps me making these tough decisions. Have you started your own business? Is it successful or just getting started? How do you keep your entrepreneur spirit moving forward and excited? Do you find it harder to start a business being a woman? I would love to discuss these questions with women business owners, please leave a comment below with your thoughts.

I look forward to our discussions!

Happy New Year! Time for new adventures and business endeavors…

Do you make new year resolutions? I like to make new year wishes and goals. As we enter 2019 my goal for GypsiGen is to become mobile! I love the idea of a Gypsi style pop-up store. I have been looking and researching small, vintage camper trailers. The idea is to gut it out and make it a mobile, GypsiGen boutique. This website, HeyLittleEngine.com has some great information about starting, licensing, and financial info to get started. http://www.heylittleengine.com/blogpost/how-much-does-it-cost-to-start-a-mobile-boutique

Here are just some images from a Google search on mobile boutiques. It seems to be a very popular thing with food trucks and pop-ups in warmer climates. I live in Michigan so, maybe this would be a summer business. However, I have seen pop-ups in the mall or indoor shows and conventions, I would have to do more research to see if GypsiGen mobile would be able to survive the Michigan winters.

So far I have found quite a few vintage trailers for sale on Facebook market place, there are a couple other websites I want to research as well for camper sales.

This is going to be a great project and fun business adventure. Have you started a business or starting a business this year? Let’s collaborate, share, and support each other making small businesses happen. I look forward to connecting with you, leave a message here or email me at gengypsi@gmail.com.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! stay tuned for updates on GypsiGen mobile!

Peace & Love,

GypsiGen
