When wandering the beach there is always treasures to find, photograph, and explore. Like this man-of-war jellyfish, beautiful creature even as it was washed on shore on a windy day.

*Photo tip, get down to the level of your subject, it gives a more personal touch to the photo.*

At the end of hardship comes happiness. ~unknown

This trip to Florida came after a long road of discovering my persistence, willpower, and dedication to education. After graduating with my Bachelor’s degree, I took a trip to my happy place, the beach, Cocoa Beach to wander, photograph, and explore. Plus, it is where Genie was found on my favorite show I Dream Of Genie.

Then I headed up the coast to St. Augustine, the most beautiful place I have ever been. The beach is the one place I feel like me, it is the epitome of my happy place.

Where is your happy place or place you feel like the best you? The beach gives me energy and revives my soul. It is place where I can relax, meditate, or just be in the moment. Do you have a place like this? Comment on this post and lets share our experiences and love of wanderlust.

How do you Mandala?

Mandala Art

Mandala Art

Mandala art is used in many cultures as a meditation or relaxation activity of creativity. How do you like to create mandalas? For me creating in a relaxed environment, pencil and paper in hand, hot tea for sipping, and letting the creativity flow is how like to relax and create. When drawing this mandala free hand I wanted to incorporate a sense of Mother Nature into the design. The leaves and flower elements bring nature into the design with a whimsical aesthetic.

You can find this mandala in my Society6.com shop at TheViolet1. It makes a perfect addition to any boho style home decor.

Leave a comment and tell me how you create, whether mandalas or some other form of art. I love to see other artists work and collaborate as well.

Peace & Love,
